Brazilian dancer, choreographer, educator, and cultural producer bridging cultures through dance – from Brazil to Los Angeles.
Aneska França unites the precision of science with the soul of art. With over two decades of experience in both performance and education, she is a recognized authority in Brazilian Zouk and a passionate advocate for Brazilian folkloric dances on international stages.
Her journey began in Recife, Brazil, where she trained at the renowned Centro de Dança Jaime Arôxa and earned her professional certification at age 17. She holds a degree in Biological Sciences with specialization in Human Morphology from UFPE, plus postgraduate studies in Dance and Body Awareness – a unique background that informs her anatomically-precise yet expressive teaching approach.
A classically trained ballerina in the Vaganova method, Aneska has served as Cultural Delegate for Pernambuco State and competed internationally in Brazilian Zouk. Now based in Los Angeles, she founded the Aneska Dance Company and teaches through the LA Unified School District's Conga Kids program.
Her mission: inspiring dancers to explore their identities through movement, building cultural bridges and transforming lives through the universal language of dance.
